In the first game, Boston College lost a heartbreaker to the University of Virginia 68-62. Scoring 21 points for UVA was Sammy Zeglinski leading to the victory.
Seeded number 12, Miamai crushed number 5 seeded Wake Forest by the score of 83-62. Reggie Johnson, a freshman for Miami, scored 22 points in the win.
Georgia Tech, seeded number 7, is down 34-24 at the half. The Georgia Tech team is pitted against the number 10 seed UNC.
In the late game, #6 Clemson plays against #11 North Carolina State at 9 PM. NC State has a record of 17-14 overall with 5-11 in the ACC.
