As part of the endeavor Sintex proposes to create schools with the help of pre fabricated material. In this initiative Sintex has also ensured the involvment of local people with which they have been able to create employment opportunities for the people of Arunanchal Pradesh.

Sintex also cares about the health of the people. Hence it proposes to construct primary health center and hospitals for the people of the state.
“The schools that have been created with the pre fabricated material have been a successful experiment in other parts of the country,” said Mr. Sanjib Roy, Senior President, Sintex Industries Limited – Plastic Division. He said that the difference of the schools created in other parts of the country and here is that the schools elsewhere are single rooms, but the schools that have been made here are at least three to four rooms.

“The purpose is to accommodate more students and create an atmosphere for them which is eco friendly, aesthetically beautiful, the environment will motivate students to sit in the classrooms,” added Mr. Roy.

Sintex has created schools with its pre fabricated materials has enabled to fulfill dreams of children, for whom going to school was a distant dream. Lack of infrastructure being one of the main reasons, but Sintex has converted their dreams into reality in other parts of the state and its is now replicating a same effort in Arunanchal Pradesh as well.

Providing quality is the uppermost in mind of Sintex whether it is constructing of schools or primary health care centers. Here at Arunanchal Pradesh, Sintex is also involved in the process of creating residential and middle schools. It has also started work for hospitals, and security agencies. “The people of this state has been deprived of basic health care for many years and the present state government is now taking initiatives, so we also in our way want to contribute by improving the lives of the people,” said Mr. Subrat Sanyal, Manager Marketing, Sintex Industries Limited (Plastic Division), Kolkata.

“We have worked with the Government of Delhi . Till date we have completed three projects for the government of Delhi through DSIDC. This technology of pre fabricated materials has worked wonders in other parts of the country and we intend to replicate this magic in this state as well,” further informed Mr. Roy.

NGOs and other developmental organizations had recognized the significance of Pre-fabricated structures, way back in 2004-5. Sintex Pre-fabricated structures is the appropriate solution in a terrain like that of Arunanchal Pradesh and is now getting extremely popular. The Pre-fabricated Hostel Building constructed for VKV, Nivedita Vihar and Seijosa in East Kameng district are shining examples of the usefulness of Pre-fabricated structures in Arunanchal Pradesh.
