The charge of the Bharatiya Janata Party that the UPA and its allies are soft on terror now witnesses a conclusive evidence with the visit of Ram Naresh Yadav of the Congress Party, followed by BSP’s Akbar Ahmad and Abu Azmi of the Samajwadi Party and to charge it all the Imam of Delhi Jama Masjid, Syed Ahmad Bukhari to the Azamgarh village of Mufti Abu Bashir the kingpin and mastermind SIMI terrorist arrested by Gujarat police responsible for blasts in Ahmadabad which claimed fifty five innocents lives and injured hundred fifty others.

While the nation hails the speedy detection, cracking by the Gujarat police arresting Mufti Abu Bashir and nine others for their links in blasts across the country, despite the non approval of the anti terror law by the UPA government as demanded by Gujarat, the SP, BSP and Congress leaders walk over to Bashir’s village without even caring for the evidence against these terror culprits. Now the nation is witnessing the Congress, BSP and the Samajwadi party the protagonists of appeasement and vote bank politics making an abrasive display by conducting an entourage to the village in Azamgarh to express brazen anti-national solidarity. While the Union Home Ministry vainly lauds the ample substantive evidence delivered by the Government of Gujarat to substantiate charges against SIMI, here are the allies of the same UPA government giving an overt disgusting display of supporting elements of terror.

There is an apparent devious design by these political parties to blasphemies concerted action against terror as acts against a particular minority community. While the glaring example of non execution of Afzal Guru by the UPA, a terrorist convicted for attack on Parliament where execution stands confirmed by the Supreme Court, we have a Home Minister who refuses to call a spade a spade and denounce Islamic terrorists referring them as “boys who have been misled”.

While the scar of the recent terrorist bomb killings in Bangalore, Ahmadabad, Jaipur and other places are not yet over that claimed more than hundreds of lives, here we have the SP, BSP, Congress already sympathising with the perpetrators of heinous terror acts. While on one hand we have witnessed advocacy of Mulayam Singh Yadav, Laloo Prasad Yadav and Ram Vilas Paswan hailing the lifting of ban on SIMI, here we have the major Congress allies trooping to Bashir’s village to outwit each other proliferating the politics of appeasement. The explicit display by SP, BSP and the Congress sympathy with terrorist does not only mark supporting terrorism but also ascertains their collusiveness.

The Congress, BSP, SP have become the cheer leaders of these terrorist organisations, groups and individuals who are mercilessly targeting and killing innocents across the nation.
